No really, and proud of it! Especially our industrial laundry customers.
In fact, initial studies show we are 40% better at leaving our laundry customers high and dry than the competition!
That's a statistic we are damn proud of, too.
Of course, we couldn't have gotten by without a little help from our friends at Air Enterprises. Their new Thermodry system is the secret to how we are achieving such great results.
You see, their special energy recovery system is designed to recover waste heat from industrial laundry dryers. This helps our customers get HIGH efficiencies and helps reduce their DRY times. We're talking 40% higher efficiencies in many cases.
Pretty cool, right? Wait, what did you think we were talking about here? *Gasp* Shame on you!
Right Brain, Meet Left Brain
In a recent blog post, we talked about using creativity to solve customer problems. One of the coolest ways I know of to do this is to use current technology to fix a problem in a way no one has thought of.
You get the best of both worlds: You can use tried and true technology that's been proven in the industry, but you can fix a problem no one else has been able to.
It's a very low risk proposition for customers who are always hungry for bigger, better and faster, but who don't want to be the proverbial "guinea pig" with a new technology.
Sometimes, all it takes is thinking outside the box. Or, in this case, inside the box. Because it's what's inside the box that counts.
Hot Is The New Cool
And inside the box, at the heart of the Thermodry system, is a Thermotech energy recovery wheel. It grabs waste heat out of the exhaust and plunks it right down into the fresh airstream.
It's an energy-saving technology that has been around for decades in the HVAC industry. It's used in all sorts of applications from hospitals, to labs, schools and manufacturing plants.
But no one has been able to use it for industrial dryers, until now!
Of course, it's not as simple as we might like it to seem. There is a lot of engineering and testing that goes into something like this, and it's important to have a strong team backing you up.
But still, it's exciting to know there are some very creative people out there working to bring new, efficient technologies to an often-overlooked industry.
So, what do you say? Do you want to work with our team to improve your laundry facility's efficiency? We promise we'll leave you high and dry!
